Grant Thornton and Drivers Jonas will also work on the scheme, which includes a £250m new hospital and 550 homes

Law firm Nabarro has been appointed to advise on the mixed-use redevelopment of Watford Health Campus.

The project will see the creation of a £250m new 600-bed hospital alongside 550 new homes, space for new business, leisure facilities and hospitality services on the 26ha site.

Nabarro bid in conjunction from Grant Thornton and Drivers Jonas. The firms will examine the options to deliver the project, including looking at new types of regeneration vehicle and other forms of joint venture between the public and private sectors.

The development hopes to deliver “better health in a more sustainable community” and improve transport links in west Hertfordshire.

Project stakeholders include West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Watford borough council, Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, the East of England Development Agency and other local and regional organisations, among them Watford Football Club.
