Berkeley chairman Tony Pidgley received a £1.5m bonus in 2009, according to the firm’s report and accounts

The bonus, which was on top of his £750k salary, was received after meeting dividend and land expenditure targets. With pension and other benefits, Pidgley’s total package totalled £2.41m. Rob Perrins, Berkeley Group’s managing director, who was finance director for most of the period covered by the results, received a £700,000 bonus, on top of his £350,000 salary; he took home £1.13m in total.
