Groundbreaker Systems has launched the Shalloduct, a pipe insulation system which can be used to protect water pipes from freezing in situations where a minimum trench depth of 750mm cannot be achieved.

Used with corrugated pipe systems it is suitable when bringing water supplies into new or existing buildings, over in-ground obstructions such as existing foundations and utilities or over ditches and streams. The thermal performance of Shalloduct exceeds water regulations G4.4-G4.12 and is fully compliant with DETR guidelines and water regulations for frost protection.
