Scheme involves new ground floor facades and reception at building completed in 2009 by Mace
Work to overhaul 25 Ropemaker Place in the City of London is expected to begin next spring, the building’s owner has said.
The 21-storey tower near Moorgate was completed by Mace in 2009, having been designed by Arup Associates.
Ho Bee Land, a Singapore-headquartered property developer and owner of the building since 2018, said the job is expected to start next April and is targeting a completion by the end of 2028.

Building understands the scheme is worth in excess of £50m with the procurement strategy for a contractor still being worked out.
London interior design and architecture firm MoreySmith is behind the makeover with others working on the job including QS Core Five, project manager Avison Young, structural engineer Watermans and fire engineer Arup.
The scheme will see new façades fitted across the ground floor, alongside a new reception and entrance on Chiswell Street.
Other work being carried out includes refurbishing all common areas and tenant amenities throughout the building. These includes a new bar, library, events space and club lounge.
Plans were sent in to Islington council over the summer with a decision expected before the end of the year.
