Rok Property Solutions issues confident trade statement and predicts good growth in its property, build and maintenance divisions.

ROK Property Solutions has posted an upbeat assessment of its prospects for the next year, and says it will record 2004 profits in line with expectations.

The group said its property development arm Rokeagle performed strongly in the second half of 2004 and that demand for commercial property was buoyant. As a result the company is opening a new office in Manchester.

The building division Rok experienced strong growth and the order book stands at £270m with £600m of long-term partnership agreements.

The group expects growth in its maintenance services arm Rokforce to accelerate in 2005 after significant investment in its systems and processes over the last year.

The one fly in the ointment was the poor performance of Spaceage, the components business that fabricates conservatory roofs. As a result the group said it would suffer a goodwill impairment change of £0.8m in the second half of 2004.
