Three-storey building for University of Surrey includes student reception and halls of residence

Architecture practice Scott Brownrigg has released images of its completed new gateway building for the University of Surrey.

The 2,430m2 three-storey building includes a student reception, 42-bed halls of residence, café lounge and bar area.

Part of the structure is covered in rippled zinc cladding.

Professor Steven Baker, development director at the University of Surrey, said: “The University is absolutely delighted with this superb new building, and appreciates the very high standard of the design and the finished quality”.
