Glazing specialist Selectaglaze has enhanced its hinged casement range with the launch of the Series 41.
By locating the glazing bead inside the cavity between the primary and secondary windows, the new range removes “clutter” from the internal aspect of the building and means dust-gathering ledges are eliminated, making it suitable for hospitals and laboratories. The unit has been designed to accept sealed unit glazing, effectively providing triple glazing.
In this format the Series 41 provides a calculated U-value for the window of about 1.7W/m2K, exceeding Building Regulations requirements. Units arrive fully assembled to allow rapid installation with minimal disruption and reduced maintenance thereafter.
