Northern Irish developer McAleer & Rushe has lodged a planning application with Westminster council for this hotel-led mixed-use scheme, to be built on the site of the Swiss Centre in Leicester Square, central London.
The building, designed by Jestico + Whiles, includes a 230-bedroom hotel, penthouse apartments and retail space. Three underground levels will accommodate a casino and restaurants. The building will be covered with a translucent veil, which can be lit to at night.
