Three teams led by Allied London Properties, British Land and Urban Catalyst/Multiplex make up the shortlist for the £400m Canada Water development in south London.
The teams were selected from a list of eight interviewed last month and shortlisted on Tuesday at a meeting of Southwark council.

The council said: "The teams will be doing more detailed masterplans, which will be submitted in May. We'll select a winner in June."

The Allied London Properties architectural team includes Will Alsop and the Building Design Partnership; the British Land team has PFS and CZWG; and Urban Catalyst/Multiplex has Hamilton Associates as lead architect and Llewelyn-Davies as masterplanner.

The council, which owns 2.6 ha of Canada Water, hopes to build an urban quarter of shopping and leisure facilities and office, residential and community space.
