Builders’ merchant aims for tiles monopoly with 67 UK stores
Travis Perkins has acquired tiles and accessories retailer Tile It All from owners Stephen and Shirley Bell.
The builders’ merchant and home improvement retailer now has 67 outlets across the UK.
Tile It All trades from 16 outlets predominantly in the north east of England and Scotland.
The firm announced earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation at £1.3m, for the year ended 30 April 2007.
Geoff Cooper, Travis Perkins chief executive, said: “The acquisition of Tile It All provides excellent growth in our business and branch network and is consistent with our strategy of investing in specific adjacent market segments.”
It recently acquired tile business Tile Giant and Tile Magic.
