The Mobile Performance Venue, a 3,900m2 transportable theatre designed by Ramboll Whitbybird and Norwegian practice Various Architects, will tour the world in 2009.
The structure consists of an inflatable PVC skin, an aluminium structural frame and a curved roof supported by cables that ranges from 11m to 17m in height. It can hold a standing audience of 3,500 people.
