In particular, collaborative working has reached adulthood. It is the fundamental basis of cost reduction, better value for clients, and sustainability in the economic and social senses as well as environmentally.

Like it or not, budget concerns are a fact of life. These tough times have led to demands for 10-20% price reductions – but how to achieve that? The recession should now concentrate minds, and those firms that want to come out stronger and fitter need to get serious about collaborative working throughout their supply chain in order to rethink the process once and for all.
