I was delighted to read your feature on Bournemouth Arts Institute's Enterprise Pavilion (19 May, pages 56-59).

This new building does indeed add measurably to our building stock and is one of a number of new buildings to be built on our campus over the next few years.

However, I would like to add that the institute enjoys a high national and international reputation - its work in film animation and photography is particularly respected and uniquely we hold the Queen's Anniversary Medal for our endeavours in these areas. Your reporter's remark that we are "little known" therefore sadly exposes his ignorance.
