As well as its heat pump towers, German heating products maker Viessmann will be launching the Vitoligno 300-P biomass pellet boiler, which has outputs between 4kW and 48kW and a claims efficiency of 86%

The unit automatically de-ashes its combustion chamber and has a digital controller with automatic diagnostics. Customers have a choice of storage and supply options for the pellets.

The Vitocal 300-G ground-source heat pump will also be launched. This has a coefficient of performance of up to 4.8 and heat outputs of 21kW, 29kW and 43kW. The firm, which has a turnover of €1.6bn, will also be showing off a bio-gas powered CHP unit and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules.
