Euroclad‘s Elite Systems have been used on the £6.4m redevelopment of the historic market site in Minehead, Somerset
Situated close to Minehead seafront, the redevelopment included building 12 business units, which had to be sympathetic with the local area and able to withstand the harsh marine environment. Elite System 60 was used on the walls and Elite System 3 was used on the roofs.
The former features a half-round profile for horizontal cladding. Elite System 3 is a secret-fix roofing system, suitable for low pitch applications where speed of installation and performance is paramount.
The manufacturer says the systems offer design flexibility and deliver clean uncluttered rooflines, high acoustic performance and are especially suitable for long-span applications, as they can be manufactured on site.
