Current key projects

Severfield-Rowen has cornered the high-end commercial market and is currently completing structural steel work on the Shard - the tallest building in Europe. It has also recently been appointed on the £300m 47-storey Leadenhall building - known as the Cheesegrater because of its distinctive tapering design - by main contractor Laing O’Rourke. It has completed steel work on almost all the Olympic Park venues and facilities, including the Olympic Stadium, the Velodrome, the Handball, Basketball and Acquatics arenas and the Press Centre, as well as the adjacent mammoth Westfield Stratford shopping centre. It is currently completing work on its final Olympic Park project - the Anish Kapoor-designed ArcelorMittal Orbit tower. It is also working on Sellafield, Birmingham New Street station and the Philharmonie de Paris concert hall.
