Solutions this week are the very pinnacle of products for all water applications, from a drainage solution for an alpine lodge to an axially split pump range
Building Adhesives Limited (BAL) provided Gutjahr System Technology drainage solutions for the restoration of Baden Lodge in the East Tyrolean Alps. As the lodge is 2,608m above sea level the renovated sun terrace required protection from adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow and ice. BAL supplied a capillary breaking drainage mat, AquaDrain EK, to prevent permanent damage during installation. The company says this system has been specifically designed for the safe installation of natural stone and that it prevents moisture storage in the substructure and allows rainwater to run away from the assembly.
