The pedestrian section of the Maastunnel in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, was converted into a Tunnel of Love this week to celebrate the tunnel’s 77th anniversary, which fell on Valentine’s Day. Artist duo Vollaerszwart used 35,000 fluorescent heart-shaped stickers to make what they described as a declaration of love to all Rotterdammers.
