Sketch of the week: Seafront 'deckhouse'

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Ben Metcalfe, a director at Pad Design. He says: “The ‘deckhouse’ sketch is one of a range of conceptual house types designed in response to the specific requirements of a seafront regeneration scheme. Aimed at delivering a compact, high-density development, the house types challenge conventional private space with a series of decks arranged across three floors. The elevated open spaces are angled to benefit from sea views while maintaining privacy.”
