Architect Stock Woolstencroft has won permission for 157 flats in east London.

The scheme, which is being developed by Astontown in south Poplar, also features 868m2 of commercial space. Ten per cent of the development’s power will be generated by a wood-pellet-fired biomass boiler in line with the Greater London Authority’s renewable energy targets.
