Redevelopment proposals have been released for Sloane Square, the gateway to King’s Road in west London.
A smarter Sloane Square
One proposal is to replace the one-way traffic system with more space for pedestrians. The design, by architect Stanton Williams, has raised granite plinths with water running over the surfaces to separate pedestrian and vehicular areas. A crossroads would create two spacious paved areas at the east and west sides of the square.
