Architect Richard Rogers Partnership has released images of its design for a rail station in Guangzhou in China. The station, in the Panyu district, could cost up to £340m and would be the largest in Asia. It will form a network of four key rail hubs in the country, along with Shanghai, Beijing and Wuhan. It will also be the destination of the planned Beijing–Guangzhou line, on which trains will reach a speed of more than 300 km/hr.
