The community behind the Alpha Course branch of the Church of England has appointed Foster and Partners to expand St Paul’s Church, in Brompton, west London.

This is the practice’s first church commission. The building will include a theology college, cafe, bookshop, lecture facilities and three residential units. The client Holy Trinity Brompton has to expand its premises because of its growing congregation.
