Gregory Hodkinson to stand down after fulfilling term limit
Arup has appointed a new chairman to take the reins from April.
Dr Alan Belfield (pictured) is currently the chief operating officer and deputy chairman at the £1.6bn turnover firm.
Belfield joined Arup in 1992 and his previous experience at the firm has involved leading the group’s operations in the UK, the Middle East and Africa.
He is an engineer by background, having completed a PhD in stress analysis in 1981.
Belfield succeeds Gregory Hodkinson, who completes the maximum five-year tenure on 31 March.
