Balfour Beatty buys two Multibuild firms for £1.9m

Balfour Beatty has acquired Multibuild Hotels and Leisure and Multibuild Interiors in a deal worth £1.9m.

The Stockport-based companies, which are part of Multibuild Holldings, specialise in the construction and fit-out of hotel and leisure facilities.

According its last accounts, Multibuild employed 156 people.

The deal will give Balfour Beatty a stronger presence in the construction and fit-out of hotels, and other leisure facilities, including cinemas and casinos and to customers including Whitbread, Rank and Odeon.
