Construction vehicle overturns, killing its driver, at Frampton-on-Severn site

A man has been killed on a building site in Gloucestershire after a construction vehicle overturned and killed its operator.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a site in Frampton-on-Severn. The contractor in charge of the site has not yet been named.

Police said that the 44-year-old Oxfordshire man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Attempts to recover the victim's body were in progress yesterday morning and the Health and Safety Executive is investigating.
