Cemex, the Rugby-based cement factory, is facing prosecution after a dust cloud led to homes and cars being covered in a thick layer of grit and dust.

Cemex bosses are set to face magistrates for a dust cloud which spewed from its factory in Lawford Road, Rugby, according to the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Residents in New Bilton, Bilton and Long Lawford around the plant woke to find the dust and grit on October 14.
