Holder Mathias-designed £4m ride at Center Parcs Elvden Forest takes riders on a water adventure

Tropical Cyclone - Center Parcs

A £4m white water adventure ride at Center Parcs Elveden Forest opened this month.

Dubbed the Tropical Cyclone, it comprises a four-person raft that takes riders on a water adventure at speeds of up to 30mph, reaching zero gravity before returning to the main pool.

The ride was designed by Holder Mathias, with Water Technologies International. SDC was the main contractor and Edmond Shipway was the project manager.
