Eurothane Silver, a rigid PIR foam insulation board for use in warm flat roofs, is now available with rebated and tongue-and-groove details to reduce cold bridging and improve airtightness.
Manufactured by Recticel Insulation, Eurothane Silver can be manufactured as single boards in large thicknesses, removing the need for double layering. Recticel claims Building Regulations can be met with a 110mm-thick board.
Eurothane Silver is suitable for use under all types of single-ply membranes, and can be
fixed to most metal decks with six fixings.
The insulation has a minimum compressive strength (at yield) of 200kPa and a 280kPa typical performance.
