Andrew White has been at business more than 13 years
Great Portland Estates’ development director Andrew White is leaving the firm later this year, the company has said.
White, who was previously at Kier Property, joined the firm in 2013 as head of development before being made development director two years later.
He has worked on several of GPE’s best-known schemes including Rathbone Square, Hanover Square and 2 Aldermanbury Square.

GPE said he has helped deliver 2.5 million sq ft of space during his time at the business and, paying tribute, chief executive Toby Courtauld said: “He has played a central role in many of our most successful developments and has helped shape the business through a period of major growth and change.
“He is a highly respected colleague whose judgement, professionalism and integrity have been greatly valued by everyone who has worked with him. On behalf of the Board and all his colleagues at GPE, I would like to thank Andy for his significant contribution and wish him every success in the future.”
GPE said White will stay for a transition period but added that his role will not be replaced. It said that executive director Dan Nicholson will retain board level responsibility for development.
