Richard Dunne speaks of greening schools and attracting young blood to eco-construction

Richard Dunne will be looking at how to attract and train new professionals for the future in 'Inspiring sustainable skills' at Think 08.

As headteacher at Ashley CofE Primary School in Walton on Thames, and with 15 years experience in the education sector, Dunne will explore ways of inspiring sustainable thinking in school children.

He will address how we can inspire and upskill those in existing professionals within the design, construction and development sector to take on the challenges of revolutionising the industry.

Dunne lectures on Values Education and the need for challenge, creativity and compassion in learning and has been responsible for ‘greening’ his school.

He recently led an education team to Antarctica and has just completed writing a schools curriculum on Antarctica.

Dunne is currently leading a project on Sustainable Schools with the National College of School Leadership.
