Planning permission has been granted for a green-roofed London office development that will cantilever over new Crossrail tunnels

Developers Telereal have received planning permission to go ahead with an office development on Fore Street in the City of London.

The 13-storey building, designed by HKR Architects, will be on the site of the former BT telephone exchange and will cantilever over proposed Crossrail tunnels.

It also features a series of six stepped roof gardens. HKR claims that the building will release 20% fewer CO2 emissions than current best practice.
