Event returned to Park Lane venue after two year absence

Tuesday night saw the return of the Building Awards in person after a two year absence.

The event was held virtually last year because of the covid-19 pandemic but awards host, comedian Jason Manford, welcomed nearly 1,000 guests to the ceremony at the Grosvenor House hotel in London’s Park Lane.

Winners included Turner & Townsend, Mace and Sir Robert McAlpine while others to pick up awards included consultant Exigere, Kier chief executive Andrew Davies, architect Pitman Tozer and housebuilder Berkeley.
