Scheme included refurbishment of existing building and addition of 12 apartments

Work on a £7.5m brass-clad luxury residential and office development in central London, designed by Make Architects' Ken Shuttleworth, has just reached completion.

The extension to the existing sixties building, built by Sisk, comprises eight new apartments and four penthouses.

The 17 existing apartments have been refurbished. The rear elevation is clad in raw milled brass, which patinates naturally, eliminating the need for an artificial finish.

To meet renewable energy requirements a ground source heat pump system has been integrated within the new service installation.

The clients are Ridgeford Properties and Howard DeWalden Estate.
