Pathfinder Properties has got the go-ahead for the first phase of a £100m mixed-use scheme on the River Medlock.
The initial stage of the development, designed by Glasgow architect Elder & Cannon, will go on a 1.3 ha site at Knott Mill. The design was unveiled last week after being granted planning permission by Manchester council. It will consist of two buildings placed at right angles, with apartments on the top floors and car parking and retail space below.

The overall masterplan for the project is being drafted by local practice Ian Simpson Architects.
