Bracknell and Wokingham College in Berkshire is expected to be complete by December 2009

Construction company Morgan Ashurst has been awarded a £25m scheme to redevelop Bracknell and Wokingham College in Bracknell, Berkshire.

The design and build contract will involve Morgan Ashurst constructing an eight-storey reinforced concrete frame building. It will have teaching and seminar rooms, a multi-purpose sports hall, beauty salon, staff rooms and a learning resource centre.

A three-storey steel-frame building will also be constructed to house classrooms and a motor vehicle workshop. The two buildings will cover a total area of 16,332 m².
