Figure increased by £12m in last six months

ISG’s administrators have said they have recouped nearly £40m since the firm collapsed more than 18 months ago.

In an update filed at Companies Houe for the eight companies that went into administration in September 2024, EY Parthenon said the amount recovered since had topped £38.5m.

It said that in the six months to 19 March, the amount recovered was £12.2m.

EY said ISG’s creditors include HMRC which is owed £91m while unsecured creditors are owed around £885m.

It said HMRC would get some money back but did not yet know what the amount would be. It added unsecured creditors are not expected to get anything back.
