Dear Building,
Greetings from Dubai!
Summer is slowly coming to an end and the heat and humidity will soon be behind us. We can then look forward to eight months of great weather and some great events - rugby 7’s, tennis, golf and horse riding.
The pace of development is still phenomenal and it feels like every day a new ‘biggest, tallest, longest’ project is launched. City space this year should be interesting!
We now have over 300 people in our Dubai office. It should be a good end of year party!

Paul Maddison joined EC Harris in 1999 and relocated to Dubai in 2000. He became an associate in 2003 and was promoted to partner in 2007. Maddison has a QS degree and is a RICS member. He is currently studying for a part-time MBA for construction executives at the Manchester Business School Worldwide.
