CEO becomes deputy chairman at cladding specialist
Permasteelisa chief executive Liam Cummins has been moved into a new role at the cladding specialist.
Cummins, who joined the firm from Kier at the start of 2023, has been made deputy chairman of the business.
Peter Bacon, who is also a partner at Atlas Holdings, the US private equity firm that bought the company five years ago, will stay as executive chairman.
Atlas also owns Bovis, having bought the contractor from its Australian parent Lendlease earlier this year.
Cummins said: “My newly appointed role will see me focus on the growth of the company across our four operating regions – Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East – in support of our group’s forward-looking strategy.
“Our plan has been to implement regionally-focused leadership to best deliver projects for our clients.”

Permasteelisa, which is carrying out the cladding contracts on Multiplex’s 50 Fenchurch Street tower and Bovis’s 60 Gracechurch Street tower, both in the City of London, said Jalal Fitoury becomes the group’s CEO in Europe.
Meanwhile, Lance Howard becomes president and CEO of North America – having joined in January when the firm bought US facade specialist Benson – while Sean Cooney remains executive general manager in Asia. Alessio De Mitri stays executive general manager for the Middle East, the company said.
