Turner & Townsend global head of client programmes to provide advice to employee-owned practice
Scott Brownrigg has appointed Turner & Townsend’s former real estate director at as the new independent chair of its Employee Ownership Trust board.
Stephen McGuckin joined the board in January and will provide impartial guidance and strategic support to the employee‑owned architecture practice.

McGuckin served as global managing director for real estate at T&T for nine years from 2009, and has been global head of client programmes at the firm since 2018.
He started his career as an architect at Grimshaw and, prior to joining T&T, was a director of consultancy at Mace before spending seven years as development director at Landsec.
He was also a trustee at the Victoria & Albert Museum for nine years and is currently serving as a trustee of the Architectural Association Foundation and a member of The British Museum’s masterplanning committee.
Scott Brownrigg’s EOT board ensures the trust effectively manages the company for the benefit of its employee-owners.
As Independent Chair, McGuckin will oversee governance and aim to ensure the trust acts in the best interests of all employees, the practice said.

Scott Brownrigg became an EOT in 2021, marking 110 years since the practice was founded.
