A property owner in north-east England chose Schott Solar when she wanted solar panels installed on her roof.

The brief required a system as close to 4kW as possible to give the best return on investment under the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) programme. The system also needed to fit around existing rooflights. The company says Schott’s Perform Poly 235 module in a landscape orientation was chosen for this reason, and because the modules can be mounted and clipped on the short ends.
