Construction company sued by Poole man over specific performance of option agreement

Construction company Highdean is headed for a High Court showdown with Poole man Steven Wright in a row over a site in Tolpuddle.

Highdean is seeking specific performance of an option agreement made in 2004 relating to the Workshop site adjacent to the Old Slaughterhouse in Tolpuddle, Dorchester.

Highdean, of Dorchester Road, Weymouth,is also seeking damages, or equitable relief, and relief under the doctrine of proprietary estoppel.

The site is worth £200,000 and Highdean limits its claim against Mr Wright, of 4 Allens Road, Upton, Poole, to this amount, according to a High Court writ.

The writ was issued by Dibbens tel 01202 884552 ref Barrie Lovelock.
