Construction Products Association is advertising for April 2012

The Construction Products Association is advertising for a new chief executive, who will replace Michael Ankers when he retires in April 2012.

The trade association is offering a “six-figure salary and benefits package”, and says it is seeking a candidate who can deal with government and industry figures at the most senior level, and “be seen as a figurehead for the construction products industry”.

Outgoing chief executive Ankers helped to set up the Construction Products Association in 1999. Commenting on his departure, the organisation’s chairman Bill Bolsover said: “The industry will be extremely sorry to lose Michael’s knowledge and skills and we will be looking to identify a high-profile and experienced successor who will be able to build on all that Michael has achieved.”
