Specialist M&E contractor wins £16m-worth of work on three projects in the North-west

Specialist M&E contractor Briggs & Forrester has won a hat-trick of contracts in the North-west worth a combined total of £16m.

The largest is a £12m mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contract for contractor ISG on the under construction £50m Exhibition Centre on Liverpool’s Kings Dock waterfront.

Briggs & Forrester will be responsible for the commissioning, procurement, design, construction and testing of all the MEP services.

The firm has also won a £4.7m job in Salford Quays for contractor Galliford Try and a £1.1m job in Eccles for contractor Willmott Dixon.

The Salford Quays project is the redevelopment of a former Colgate factory into a 400,000ft2 business and leisure complex.

In Eccles the company will provide a services package on two new office buildings.
