Flats will accommodate keyworkers at Central Middlesex hospital

Network Housing Group is developing two keyworker housing schemes for staff working at two large hospitals in north-west London. At Park Royal, architect CZWG has submitted a planning application for 145 apartments for rental and shared ownership next to the Central Middlesex hospital. The apartment blocks rise to 10 storeys and are arranged around a communal garden designed by landscape architect Churchman and above 78 underground parking bays. Network plans to develop the scheme for completion in 2011.

A few miles further north, PCKO Architects has designed 26 keyworker apartments for staff at Northwick Park hospital. The apartments are contained in a four-storey block and all of them are supplied with private balconies or gardens.
