Sketch of the week: Florence

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by illustrator Paul Mitchell. Mitchell said: “Here’s a sketch of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, sketched from my hotel balcony. The bridge was originally occupied by butchers, until the pollution in the river became so bad the king banned them. Today it’s all jewellers shops.”
