Sketch of the week: Church Square, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Emily Anastasi, architectural assistant at Fuse Architects. She says: “The sketch is a part of a character study of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, for our project at Church Square. Scale and materials were very important considerations for the scheme – we were looking at the rhythm of buildings on the high street and brick patterns. The post office was particularly important because it sits at the entrance to our site.”
