Sketch of the week: Corporation street, Rochester Riverside

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Nerea Bermejo, in-house illustrator at HTA. She says: “This is a public realm vision for Corporation Street, the strategic A2 corridor severing historic Rochester from Rochester Riverside. The HTA Design team worked with Medway council to demonstrate how the dual carriageway could be transformed into an urban boulevard through boulevard planting, new mixed-use frontages, segregated cycle lanes and a high-quality public realm. The vision sketch highlights a series of strategic cross links that better connect the ‘creeks’ along the River Medway to the High Street.”
