Hanson’s range of dense aggregate blocks now contains Regen, which the firm says reduces embodied CO2 by up to 30%
Regen is a ground granulated blast furnace slag and is used as a cement replacement. The firm says the aggregate blocks offer high compressive strength, excellent sound insulation and have a product life expectancy in excess of 150 years.
They have BES 6001 responsible sourcing of materials certification and can help builders meet current and future Building Regulations.
