Robert MacLeod leaves after five years to join FTSE 100 firm Johnson Matthey

Atkins finance director Robert MacLeod has resigned from the company to join FTSE 100 chemicals group Johnson Matthey.

MacLeod, 44, will leave the board on 19 June. Atkins said it would announce a successor in due course.

Keith Clarke, chief executive of Atkins, said: “Robert has led Atkins' finance function in an exemplary manner over the past five years. On behalf of the group I'd like to thank him for his work and wish him every success as he advances his career with a FTSE 100 organisation.”

MacLeod joined Atkins in June 2004 and is a non-executive director of generator hire and air conditioner group Aggreko.
